Cala Bella Restaurant at Rosen Shingle Creek

Dined here with my girlfriend. We decided to explore away from our conference at another hotel. Restaurant is inside the Shingle Creek Resort. Complimentary valet, was offered since we weren&#39;t staying there but dining on the property. The exterior rooms leading to the restaurant is divine, the lobby is tastefully decorated and someone I knew that if the property paid this much attention to detail my restaurant experience would be similar. We were greeted and seated by the host. Our server was polite and friendly. Treated us like we were VIP, I think his name was Israel not sure. He also encouraged us to sign up for preferred plus an in house reward program that&#39;s give you 25 percent discount for repeat business. I can&#39;t say enough about the food, I had the rib eye it was tender and well seasoned, my friend had the shrimp she too was pleased. Service and food were excellent. Good size portions and worth every penny. You can&#39;t go wrong at this place. I give them a 10 out of 10. I&#39;m not very easy to please but good service and excellent quality deserves recognition. Will definitely be back when I&#39;m in town again.

The food and service at A Land Remembered is delightful and I would recommend it to anyone staying at the hotel or who lives in Orlando.

After Rosen buffet for successive evenings, this is indeed a treat. Unique flat pizzas, as well as desserts, to share with friends, coupled with beer and chats with friends, make a perfect night cap. The staff was friendly too. We stayed for conference for 5 days and this is where we dined on the last night before heading home.

Appreciated the convenience of being located in the hotel. Food was relatively generic and good but not great. No reservations available so we sat in the bar, but had good service from bartender and a good view of the pool area. Worth a try if staying at the hotel.

I purchased a $100 Restaurants.com voucher for this restaurant which is located at the massive Rosen Shingle Creek resort in Orlando. We walked up to the hostess and we were turned away because we didn&#39;t have reservations despite the restaurant was half empty. The hostess also told us that they weren&#39;t accepting discounts that evening; I then asked to speak to a manager... She went to get the manager and returned stating &quot;she&#39;d be happy to seat us&quot;, that didn&#39;t go over too well with me. We were seated and the manager came to our table and conversed with us apologizing for the confusion. We had Christina as our waitress, whom was a complete pleasure. We started with a bottle of White Zinfandel wine and an order of fried Calamari which was absolutely delicious. We then ordered our entree&#39;s; my girlfriend ordered the seafood Cala Bella Seafood pescatore which came with Lobster Tail, Mussels, Calamari, Shrimp, Scallops, Spicy Saffron Tomato Broth, Linguini Pasta along with fresh baked breads. All was good, the lobster was a little over cooked but was still delicious. I ordered the Lamb Chops which ... They (4) were prepared a perfect medium-rare Dijon Marinated Herb Roasted Chops, Pickled Shallots, Roasted Marble Potatoes, Rosemary Minted Marsala Sauce... As a gesture, since we were filled from the dinner, the waitress gave us two (2) chocolate glazed biscotti&#39;s on the way out... It was not a cheap meal but was a delicious meal... The atmosphere was very pleasant for an upscale restaurant... The only real issue I had was throughout our entire dinner stay, the restaurant never got more than half filled. On the Restaurant.com voucher there was no disclaimer stating that reservations were suggested or required. All in all; it was a pleasant evening and I would eat here again.

The food is generally the same, the place is in the ancient city. The price is not very cheap.

I always wanted to try a whole lobster, but didn&#39;&#39;t have a clue where to start. &#39;&#39;Rachel&#39;&#39; our server was exceptionally helpful, went over and above I&#39;&#39;d say. Food was super tasty and the kids choices were great! wish we had dined here ore than once during our stay, but we will be back.
